Since 2012 I’ve been working to help bloggers do what they do better – to blog smarter so they can spend more time doing the things they love.  I’m one of the fortunate people who gets to do what I love for a living, but that said, this website is a business.

I believe in total transparency (and I hope you do as well!), so it’s important for you to note that some of the links around this site are affiliate links, which means that if you decide to purchase the tools I’ve linked to, at no extra cost to you, the company will pay me a commission.  I don’t anticipate becoming rich from the proceeds, but it enables me to spend less time away from my kiddos…and allows me to offer much of my professional advice for free here on the blog.

While there are literally thousands of products out there marketed to bloggers and other online businesses, I only recommend a handful; these are products I have tested, used, and loved myself.  I have a commitment to only recommending products I use and love.  If you see a link to a product on another website, it’s safe to assume it’s an affiliate link; this includes web hosts like SiteGround (for beginners and those with low traffic) or WPEngine (for higher traffic sites and businesses that need a full service WordPress host), Genesis themes, BackupBuddy (who has saved my butt more than once!), and others.
