During the past few weeks, I’ve had the pleasure of working with Lori of Waldorf (inspired) Moms to move her blog from Typepad to WordPress, and also giving her a custom blog design that reflects the colorful simplicity of the Waldorf educational philosophy that inspires her.
Lori’s blog features breathtaking nature photography and highlights the beautiful crafts/handwork she creates with her family. If you’re a crafter, this blog is full of eye candy! I hope you’ll join me in welcoming Lori to her new home on WordPress – please visit her blog and say “hi” to another member of our community.
…and Lori, welcome to your new blog.

Hi Jeni,
I just went over to Lori’s blog to say hello. Wonderful job on the design. It looks great!
Love, Taryn

I am very excited to see a move from typepad to wordpress! I’m currently on typepad and thinking of moving Gypsy Forest as well. I will definitely need your help when the time comes!

Ha.
As I’m sure you’ve heard, it’s quite a process – but totally doable. I’m glad to see your family is safe after Isaac! Hope you’re not too soggy.

I found this post while doing a google search. Great tips especially since I’m taking my blog more serious now. I also like to leave questions for my readers to engage them and I love all the different tips and suggestions I get in return. I use blogger so I’m on the hunt now to try and figure out a way for readers to know that I’ve replied. Thanks again for all the great ideas!

Hi Alisha, I knew what you meant.
Thanks for your comments – it can be hard to get people commenting on your blog, but if you can get them to comment once, it seems to remove a “block” for them and they feel freer to leave comments in the future.
